RMC BANJALUKA HALF MARATHON REGISTER Race Pack

The second "Vivia Run & More Weekend" festival of sports, music, entertainment and education will be held from 19th to 21st of April in Banja Luka, organized by the Support Marketing Center, the Banja Luka Athletic Club and the Run & More Community Team.

Welcoming spring, in one of the most beautiful historic buildings in Banja Luka- Kastel fortress, we are preparing a number of sports competitions, as well as educational, promotional and entertaining events, for every generation. The central event of the festival is RMC Banja Luka Half Marathon! For the fifth year in a row, our team is organizing a half-marathon race in Banja Luka - which will be held on a new track that will run through some of the most beautiful alleys, streets and parks of the city of Banjaluka.

The fifth half-marathon race in Banja Luka, organized by the 'Support Marketing Center' in cooperation with the athletic club Banja Luka will, this year, be held on some of the most beautiful alleys, streets and parks of Banjaluka, stretching all the way to the most important historical monument - the Kastel fortress.

Being the central event of the second "Vivia Run & More Weekend" festival - RMC Banja Luka half-marathon is expecting roughly around 1500 participants from 40 different countries from around the world.

The new GoPro Banja Luka Half Marathona track run into two circles. It has been awarded the official AIMS certificate, which places it on the list of half-marathon tracks on which one can achieve results for the Olympic standard, national, continental and world records. In addition to personal records, runners in Banja Luka can now make qualifying times for major world marathons. It is very straight and therefore ideal for achieving personal records.

In order to register and officially become a participant of the Banja Luka half-marathon race, you need to confirm that you agree to the following rules and regulations. The rules apply to all participants of the race so please read them carefully before signing up and filling out the official form for participation in the Banja Luka half-marathon race. By completing the application on our site, you will automatically agree to all terms and regulations. The rules in this document are binding to all runners and organizers and include guidelines related to the race itself as well as for the organization of this sporting event.

The organizer takes responsibility for the safety of runners, and will take all measures to ensure the runners are safe. No pets or any vehicles are allowed in the race or at the start / finish line of the race. According to the IAAF and AIMS rules, all runners must leave the race immediately, if asked to do so by an official. If the race gets canceled due to unexpected or unforeseen events and circumstances (weather conditions etc.) the signup fee will not be compensated. If a person who has signed up for the race cannot participate in the race, he or she may transfer his or her start fee to the other person, at any time, except on the day of the race.

  • All participants are to come to the start line no later than half an hour before the beginning of the race.
  • Changing of the clothes will be organized in specialized tents in which the participants can hand over their belongings to volunteers. If you leave your belongings in the tent you are obligated to mark your bag with the sticker containing your number, which you will find in your participation package. After re-dressing, hand your clothes over to the volunteers. Once the race is finished you can collect your things based on your participant number.
  • All participants are obliged to put their participant number on the chest. Participants must wear only the number under which they have been registered otherwise they will be disqualified from the race.
  • The participant numbers have an integrated unique chip. The countdown of your personal time begins the moment you pass the start line, and will be stopped the moment you pass the finish line.
  • Participants who do not have their numbers are not allowed in the start zone.
  • Participants are obliged to follow the instructions of the official speaker and the judge at the start line.
  • Pets, baby carriages, roller skates, bicycles or any other type of vehicle with wheels are forbidden in the half-marathon start zone.
  • All participants must pass the check points on the track. If a participant, for whatever the reason, is not registered at these checkpoints he or she can lose their placement as well as the result, and be disqualified from the race.
  • The time limit set for the race is 3 hours.
  • Refreshment points are available at every 2 kilometers along the route.
  • Water bottles will be waiting at every refreshment station. There will also be a station with fruits as well as one with isotonic drinks and gels distributed along the route.
  • Participants who are not feeling well can approach the nearest doctor, medical staff member or a medical volunteer who will be positioned along the route together with their medical teams.
  • Once they pass the finish line, all participants will be given a medal and a bottle of water, after which they should continue walking until they reach the exit.

The 10K race, which is to be held under the 'Vivia Run & More Weekend' festival, will be run on the same track as the RMC Banja Luka half-marathon, but in one lap.

The track goes through the sole center of the city with a finish line located in the Kastel fortress.

The new 10k race track is the first round of halfmarathon race. This track stretches through the center of the city to the finish line set at Kastel fortress.   • Once they pass the finish line, all participants will be given a medal and a bottle of water, after which they should continue walking until they reach the exit.

Business company teams, neighbors, college friends or fitness pals will, with joint forces, run a 5K share race and, based on the sum of the results of all team members, average team time obtained in the run will be calculated as their final result.

This unique team building event, through training and socializing besides everyday responsibilities, aims to enhance functionality, productivity of the group, and improve teamwork.

The race track of 5k Team Run G-Drive is designed for teams of 3 to 6 members. It is extremely straightforward and stretches to the center of the city from the start of the Krajina square to the finish line set at Kastel fortress.

One of the most exciting running events in the world, whose primary attribute is throwing various colors of organic origin on the participants, will be organized, for the first time in Banja Luka, under the name of 'Color Fun Run', by the Support Marketing Center. This race celebrates new beginnings, love and friendship.

This most colorful urban race is conceived in a way that the participants start the race with a clean white T-shirt, and volunteers and cheering fans toss bright, organic colors onto the participants with each kilometer they pass so that in the end, when they reach the final 3rd kilometer of the race, they are bound to be tinted from head to toe.

The Color Fun Run race course is 3 kilometers long and runs from the start in Kastel fortress, through the central street. The route goes by the National Theater of Republic of Srpska, after that runners return and run the same route to the finish line set in the Kastel fortress.

The School Run race is intended for elementary and secondary school students, ages 11 to 19. The race includes competitions in different categories such as for the best personal, class or school result on the 700-meter track that stretches from Boska department store to Kastel fortress.

Competing is only one part of this event, which, through entertainment and socializing, brings children and teenagers closer to recreational sports and a healthy lifestyle.

School children run on 700-meter long route which stretches from Boska to Kastel fortress. The start line is in "Kralja Petra I Karadjordjevica" street. The run goes by Boska department store and Palas Hotel, and then through "Trznicka" street to the finish line on Kastel fortress.

The bambini marathon has three age categories. The youngest marathon participants can run or walk along the 250 meters track, accompanied by an adult, and the goal of this competition is developing sports habits from an early age as well as socializing with peers.

Little princes and princesses will finish their race in the Kastel fortress, where an interesting entertainment program with concerts, games and dancing will be organized especially for them.

The track that the youngest Banja Luka half-marathon race participants will run is 250 meters long and is intended for children aged 2 to 6.
